Talk about needing to appreciate your own voice. :) I actually encourage speakers and actors to "score" their speeches the same way a singer would, to experiment with where to put the breath, where to leverage dynamics (high/low, fast/slow, stop/go, crescendo/decrescendo), etc. Speaking or singing "naturally" actually takes a lot of prep!
