Ever wondered what my voice sounded like?
Well, you’re in luck, because the Page and Stage Podcast has officially launched!
And even if you already know my voice, or couldn’t care less about my voice, I know you’ll seriously enjoy the content. We dig deep into storytelling, writing, performance, and how art can permeate all aspects of your life.
The first two episodes, featuring the dynamic duo of Will Luera and Maria Schaedler-Luera, are LIVE. And you can listen pretty much anywhere you get your podcasts.
But here, I’ll make it easy for you with buttons.
Now, if you choose the ol’ YouTube, there’s not a video of the convo. It’s simply a static image. But hey, I know lotsa folks who use YouTube for background, and this gives you that option. Learn about storytelling while you do the dishes!
Every Thursday moving forward, a new episode will drop.
For example, next week, my guest will be USA Today Bestselling author Don Bruns. His newest thriller short story anthology coming out in July includes the newest Jack Reacher story!
And the guy has stories, oh my yes.
Meet me and a few Ibis Books authors in person tomorrow
Tomorrow—Saturday, March 23—I’ll be in tent 29 at the Venice Book Fair. If you’re around the Gulf Coast area, come on by. The entire Ibis Books catalogue will be available for purchase in paperback, and I’ll have my fancy pen ready to go with heartfelt inscriptions and autographs.
I’ll also be joined by Ibis author Maria Schaedler-Luera—yes! the same Maria who is on podcast episode 2!—between 9am and 10am. Her book is BE THE PROTAGONIST.
Then memoirist Estrella Engelhardt will be hanging out from 11am to 1pm. Her book is LETTERS TO JIM.
And then the one-and-only Carrie Seidman will swing by from 1pm to 3pm. Her book is A PLACE AT THE TABLE.
DETAILS! The Venice Book Fair will be held at West Blalock Park in Venice, FL. You can park in the Community Center lot on Nassau Street. There will be like 40 author tents (again, Ibis Books is tent 29), and also food trucks. Feed your body with BBQ, feed your brain with books. Win-win.
Please feel free to email me with thoughts, questions, and comments about the podcasts! I’ll be using your questions for future “mailbag” episodes, and I always love to hear your takeaways.
Have a terrific weekend—
